Composite decking display

Composite decking is manufactured using a combination of wood fiber and plastic. The plastic might be from milk jugs or soda bottles. The deck boards may be hollow or solid with hollow boards being a bit cheaper and less sturdy than solid boards. Solid boards, however, expand and contract, but they are stronger and look more like real wood.
Cost: At the onset, composite decks will cost more than a wood deck, but, due to minimal upkeep over time, may prove to be slightly less than a wood deck.
Upkeep: Understandably, decks are susceptible to all the outside elements. Composite decks require low maintenance with a soft brush and detergent or pressure washing. Scratch resistant materials can keep pet claws from damaging the deck. UV protection offers protection from fading if the deck is not covered
